AVIATION NEWS · On April 28, 2008, a meeting was held at the Pittsburgh FAA/ATC Tower. The purpose of the meeting was to provide an overview of the USCG Auxiliary Aviation Mission Profile and to enhance the relationships between the tower personnel and the USCG and auxiliary. The meeting was attended by MSU CDR Steve Wischmann, Auxiliary Aviation pilots/crewmembers, Pennsylvania State Police and the TSA Federal Air Marshals Service (FAMS). The meeting was followed by a tour of the FAA tower and an overview of their operation. At the conclusion of the tower tour, the group was invited to a presentation and tour of the Federal Air Marshals facility in Pittsburgh .
